Elaine Orland has been the Clinical Director of Grace House of Memphis, Inc., since 1995. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Social Work Diplomat in the State of Tennessee. She also has a small private therapy practice. She has been conducting therapy workshops, counselor trainings and community leadership courses in the region for the past 15 years. She has been involved in using the arts in the healing process through organizations such as Opera Memphis and Recovery Repertory Theatre. She has served in many leadership positions such as President of the Tennessee Association of Alcohol and other Drugs Counselors (TAADAC) in western Tennessee.
